(1977) Whitehead's philosophy of science and metaphysics, Dordrecht, Springer.
One of the clearest introductions to Whitehead's thought is to be found in certain parts of A Treatise on Universal Algebra: ideas are formulated there which also occur in his later work. A good example of this is his discussion of the idea of equivalence.
