(1990) Wittgenstein — eine neubewertung/Wittgenstein — towards a re-evaluation, Dordrecht, Springer.
This paper sets out to show that the logical form of language cannot be expressed by means of language. In the background is a view of Wittgenstein's original argument to that effect, the argument presented in sections 4.126–4.12721 of the Tractatus. I have no space to defend that view here, but a sketch of it may help to locate my remarks.
