The first volume of the philosophical periodical founded by Arthur Liebert (Lévy) during his Yugoslav exile features Edmund Husserl's famous text on the crisis of the European sciences. That text is itself part of a section entitled "Investigations on the Nature of the Spirit" that includes contributions from the members of the "Cercle philosophique de Prague" (Kozák, Kraus, Landgrebe, Patočka, Utitz).
