Janette Friedrich
Lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Geneva, member of the Laboratory History of the theories of language at the CNRS in Paris; editor of the journal Studia philosophica. Swiss journal of philosophy. Research areas: History and Epistemology of the Human Sciences, Philosophy of Language, Philosophical questions of educational sciences (studies of the concepts of knowing-how and experience). She published her doctoral dissertation on the psychology in the Soviet Union in the 1920s and 1930s and is a specialist of the work of Lev Vygotsky. She edited in 2009 with D. Samain the translation of the Sprachtheorie of Karl Bühler and since then she has consecrated a great deal of research to Bühler's work. During the two coming years she will continue her researches on Bühler in Vienna, thanks to a Lise Meitner post financed by the Austrian Wissenschaftsfonds (FWF).
